Herbs & Owls is now offering their Budding Herbalist program online to teach participants how to confidently select and use herbs for themselves and with family and friends.

The Budding Herbalist Program is taught by Registered Herbalist (AHG) and Flower Essence Practitioner Gina Kearney. “Many students wanted to take the program but could not come in person,” shares Kearney; “the full program is now online with live office hours and an active student community discussion forum.”

Students will connect deeply with plants through this introduction to Herbal Medicine program which includes the art of blending and making tea; herbs for the nervous, immune, cardiac, respiratory, and digestive systems; creating home apothecary; an introduction to vibrational healing and flower essences; the medicinal benefits of cacao; and more.

The course consists of seven core classes with bonus classes, live office hours and community support. This program qualifies for seven CE credits from the Florida Board of Nursing for RN, LPN, CAN and ARNPs. Program Evaluation and Test are required for CE credits.
