Herbs and Owls is offering two programs: The Budding Herbalist and The Shamanic Medicine Wheel Intensive, taught by Gina Kearney, Registered Herbalist (RH) and Flower Essence Practitioner.

The Budding Herbalist program teaches participants how to confidently select and use herbs. Students will connect deeply with plants through a course that includes an introduction to herbal medicine and its principles, the art of blending and making tea, herbal plant profiles, herbs for the different systems of the body, nourishing tonics, kitchen remedies, and much more. Registration is now open for the Monday program beginning August 22 and the Wednesday program beginning October 12. The program consists of eight three-hour classes for a total of 24 hours of instruction.

The Shamanic Medicine Wheel Intensive invites participants to embark on a personal journey through the teachings of the Andean Medicine Wheel. Students will experience the shamanic path of direct revelation and engage in a unique opportunity for self-discovery, healing, and empowerment. This intensive meets monthly from 6 to 8 p.m. on the third Thursday for eight months. Classes begin September 15.
